Meet the Instructor: Alpha Force Head Instructor Nancy Stroud
Nancy Stroud began her training with Korean martial arts, including Tae Kwon Do and Soo Bahk Do, and in 2003 earned her 1st Degree Black Belt in Soo Bahk Do. In 2002, Nancy began training in Krav Maga and continued to cross train in both systems until 2007 when she earned her civilian instructors certification. In May 2017 after 15 years of training and living Krav Maga; Nancy received her Expert 2 certification in Israel making her one of the highest ranking Krav Maga instructors in the world. Nancy earned her expertise through years of dedication, teaching, and training. She loves to see the transformation in students and believes Krav Maga is essential for everyone.

Krav Maga S.W.A.T. Instructor Course 2018
THE KRAVolution S.W.A.T Instructor Course 2018 took place from December 27, 2017 to January 03, 2018 in the Quartier Forget of the 3rd REI (Régiment Étranger d’infanterie) of the French Foreign Legion in Kourou, about 60km northwest of the capital Cayenne in French Guiana.
After arriving at the regiment’s collective apartments on the evening of 26 December, the course began the next morning with a hard workout. Of course, the next 7 days in the truest sense of the word “to fight through” were not alone, because in this course you can not make it without reasonable teamwork. Restrain and control techniques from the law enforcement and capture techniques alone and in team were in the first few days on the program. Of course everything connected to krav maga techniques! Women Only Seminar with Megan in San Diego, USA
On 12-03-2017 from 01:00 pm until 04:00 pm will be held at Miramar Martial Arts in San Diego, USA a first-class Women Only seminar with KRAVolution self-defense expert Megan Cohen Berkman.
“Women Only” means that this seminar is a women’s training, which shows as woman can defend herself! No woman is a victim and the men how think, that women can‘t defend themselves against a men will be teach a better one!
Due to the recent event of attacks on women, we are getting more and more requests at the KRAVolution for effective self-defense, because here the defenses are trained not only against one but several attackers under simulated stress by intuitive reactions.
‘Always be a hard target‘, flight or fight, never freeze, that is the slogan and woman learns in this seminar to defend themselves “unfairly” after all rules!
Megan Cohen Berkman, one of the highest ranked women in the Krav Maga world and Head Instructor at KRAVolution, leads this seminar. Review CIC Part II in Germany at Krav Maga Institute
After another four days of full-time training, our KRAVolution Instructor participants are once again a step closer to their goal of becoming a Krav Maga Full Instructor. The second of a total of four blocks consisted mainly of Ground Fighting and Defenses against Weapons. In addition, a special focus was placed on “teaching”. It was also part of the idea to create Summary Drills and put them to the test. But see for yourself what a fun we had again.

About 50 participants at the Knife Defending Seminar in Germany!
The 12 hours Krav Maga training marathon is done! Amnon Darsa, our corporate partner and Israeli Krav Maga Expert, visited the Krav Maga Institute in Cologne, Germany for an Instructortraining and seminar.
The day began for some the trainers with a four-hour Instructor training. It was not only about advanced techniques, but also about the optimization of the teaching process. After a one-hour summary drill, they were not only wet-sweated, but had a big grin on their face – because that’s why they are KRAVolution Instructors because to train Krav Maga is their passion.
After this seminar highlight they went on until 09:00 pm with their KRAVolution Civil Instructor Course. Review Law Enforcement Instructor Course 10/2017
Congratulation! After seven days of full-time training, the participants of our KRAVolution Law Enforcement Instructor Course successfully passed this course and are now Law Enforcement Instructors, which is a trainer for daily police courses.
The participants, consisting of police officers, members of an international special unit, and other members of the BOS (e.g. paramedics), who are also active Krav Maga Instructors, have gone through an intensive and work-related week. The goal was not only to train Krav Maga techniques and principles, but also to teach and train each other in order to benefit from the experience of others. Not only the participants, but also we as Instructors have learned a lot and we are very proud to have co-trained with you. The KRAVolution system has once again evolved from the experience of professional users.
The content:
- KRAVolution Krav Maga Defense techniques against one or several un-/ armed attackers with subsequent attacks
- Arrest and transportation tactical behavior in conflict situations
- Communication and body language
- TEAMWORK
- Self-defense in tight spaces and under adverse conditions, e.g. low light / no light
- CQB Training
- Intergration Shooting Range
- Scenario-Training / Real Life Situations in our 1100sqm large Scenario-Location
The course:
Initially, the most common types of physical attacks on police officers from all directions (360°) were trained and combined. In addition, there was a first insight into the Law Enforcement techniques, in which the ”Basic Arm Controls” were introduced. Based on this, the following days could be designed in such a way that the performance level steadily increased. All techniques were tested under stress drills, whereby the action on principle became aware of each participant. Krav Maga is based on principles and not just on the one, all-solving technique. And exactly these principles make KRAVolution Krav Maga so effective and usable for each individual. Because under stress, every technique has to work and that can only be achieved by adhering to few but efficient principles.
In the further course, besides the correct didactic teaching, special attention was paid to realistic scenario trainings. This course benefited above all from the many years of experience of the active, national as well as international police officers. The aim was to keep the stress level low at the outset, to make the necessary mistakes and to continuously increase the level of education in the course of time, thus achieving a learning effect. This was, for example, the case to control the person, who within seconds turned to an active attack against the participant.
After seven days of full-time training, many instructive scenarios and countless KRAVolution Krav Maga trainings, 8 Krav Maga Instructors can now call themselves as a KRAVolution Law Enforcement Instructor.
