Our KRAVolution train and travel went to Israel in the country of origin of Krav Maga and took place from May 10th to May 14th.
The 40 participants were accommodated in the 4 star Hotel Island Suites on the beach of Netanya. We had reserved a training hall here but due to the very sunny weather we were drawn to the training on the beach promenade. Continue reading “This was TRAVolution 2018!”

Short but great report about our last KRAVolution training with Jean Paul Jauffret in French Guiana – the S.W.A.T. Instructor Course – in the magazine of the French Foreign Legion the “Kepi Blanc”.
We are very proud of it!

 

The Krav Maga CSA (Sports and Arts Club) of the 3rd Foreign Infantry Regiment organized a KRAVolution S.W.A.T Instructor Course, in order to train military as well as police instructors, from December 28, 2017 to January 3, 2018. This training focalized on teaching the know-how techniques and correct tactics to police , military units, and to the VIP / Close Protection professionals. Among these skills, the trainees notably worked on their tactical actions in conflict situations, self defense in close quarters or difficult conditions, scenarios of hostage-taking and terrorist attacks. During this occasion, the training was taught by M. Jean-Paul Jauffret, one of the most well-known experts in the discipline. Sergeant Scott Yingling, head of the CSA Krav Maga, lead the instruction of urban combat and tactical shooting.

Jean-Paul Jauffret has more than 30 years experience in training and education, including 20 years as an instructor of the 2rd REP paratrooper regiment of the French Foreign Legion on Corsica. He recently leads the S.W.A.T. Instructor Course at the 3rd REI Infantry Regiment of the French Foreign Legion in French Guiana. In addition, Jean-Paul is also family guy and knows what it means to defend himself and his family in a case of emergency. At the beginning and during the intense warm-up, our participants already got to know the advantages of the course coach Andy. It is commonly known that you should step out of your comfort zone. And so we did – starting with basic body defense exercises,which closely connect to our natural reflexes (body defense, off the line of attack in combination with counter attacks, etc.) during a defense. The focus was put on dynamic movements.

Furthermore, the self-defense course continued by providing special techniques with knife/stick against direct and indirect attacks with weapons. In addition to those basic techniques further defense options were practised. So that the whole event was experienced by the participants like something beyond their expectations. In other words, a complete success.

Additional defense techniques against stick attacks, particulary focusing on different angles of attacks, were practised too.

As the icing on the cake Andy, expert in Krav Maga, showed us some special defenses with a stick or any other object.

From the first moment on till the end of the course we were able to follow Andy´s explanations easily and practise actively.
This results from Andy´s experiences and highly professional teaching skills.

Save your Tickets now! In May 2018 we will travel again to the country of Krav Maga.
This year we will stay at the 4* Hotel “Island Suites” Netanya. The 4 * hotel has it’s own training hall, where we can do training with you. The hotel is located directly on the beach, which makes a beach training possible.

 

You can make your own daily schedule of course. It’s up to you if you would like to join all trainings and excursions we will provide. Our schedule looks like this:

• 1 hour of pre-breakfast training with Megan, Jean-Paul, Carsten or one of the other international KRAVolution Instructors – of which many will certainly arrive.
• 3 hours of training around noon, either in the training hall or in changing locations, e.g. on the beach, in Jerusalem, etc ..
• It is also planned to complete 1-2 hours of pre-dinner training.
• A level test is also possible for each of you.

Instructors Special: In the evenings after dinner there will be Instrutors meeting. During these meetings we will go over the curriculum as well as questions, answers, sharing ideas and goals.

Furthermore, the program includes various excursions to the Dead Sea, Jerusalem and a special museum.

We want YOU as an instructor then! The Assistant Instructor Course is the first step for your Krav Maga Instructor career.

The course to become a KRAVolution Assistant is a compressed training for the civil sector and the first step for every ensuing Krav Maga instructor course, particularly the Civil Instructor Course!

The Content of the KRAVolution Assistant Instructor Course is based on our general teaching-methods. Meaning, it is about the fundamental understanding for Krav Maga and its principles, instead of being about the single components of the techniques.

• imparting the didactic foundation for teaching-preparations
• imparting the didactic foundation for teaching Krav Maga

Our goal is to train you to become an assistant of our instructor team. Like that you can learn how to teach in practice from the best. In addition, we prepare you, theoretically and practically, to pass the final exam, to become a KRAVolution Civil Instructor.
