From 01.11.2017 – 01.13.2018 the KRAVolution Kids Instructor Course will take place, guided by the Israeli expert Haim Sasson! This course is not only for active instructors, but also for assistants – (prospective) instructor who enjoy entertaining children in effective self-defense. The KRAVolution KIC offers unique and valuable skills to the participants in an area of great importance – self-defense for children in a safe and playful environment.

The course provides participants with correct and successful guidance of children, which are very different from teaching adults. The course will make the instructor a multisector-instructor with high communication skills with children and their parents. This contributes enormously to the satisfaction, since the instructor sets important basic skills of self-defense early (in the development phase). Skills children sometimes need even more than adults. The great advantage of this course is also that techniques are split into the smallest checkpoints and these are taught playfully. Then you will see the techniques with different eyes and realize how effectively and easily you can teach even more complex techniques didactically good. Your adult training will sustainably improve positively.

There are few Krav Maga experts who have the martial arts knowledge that Haim Sasson has. Over 40 years of Martial Arts, Krav Maga Black Belt by Imi, Black Belt in other systems, and a Wingate Institute trainer. Haim Sasson’s expertise covers all areas of Krav Maga, especially civilians, women and children. Haim manages his own organization, called IKM, and trains with the best in the field, including his martial arts master Jim Keenan, Krav Magas founder Imi Lichtenfeld, Imi’s closest students and instructors, and Israeli Defense Forces during his time as an officer in the army.

On 12-09-2017 from 10:00 am until 01:30 pm will be held at Magills Glockstore in San Diego, USA an Active Shooter seminar with KRAVolution self-defense expert Jean-Paul Jauffret.

“Active Shooter” has come into existence when one or more shooters running amok and shoot at all people in their area. They kill indiscriminately – because of different motivations. Amok shooters do this often from a distance, but sometimes from close proximity. For example, in execution character. These types of attacks are piling up – whether they are terrorist or more personally motivated. The right behavior in an “Active Shooter” event is about perception and behavior, risk protection and purposeful action that increases your own chances of survival and that of the companions (Run-Hide-Fight). This is not just about self-defense in that moment in which a pistol or gun barrel is held in front of your nose. Krav Maga training also increases survival chances by increasing assessment ability and stress-stability in risk situations.

Jean-Paul Jauffret is known worldwide for his unique expertise in professional Krav Maga adapted to close protection, operational procedures and tactics for police, military and counter-terrorism (SWAT, military special units). He is also the Head of Professional Department at KRAVolution. As a former chief of police and still as a trainer and consultant in Tactical Krav Maga fort he 1st and 2nd Regiments of the French Foreign Legion, including the elite 2nd Régiment Ètranger Parachutiste (REP) in Corsica, he is a specialist on his field.

True to the motto: “earned, not given” yesterday, four participants successfully passed the KRAVolution Instructor Course in Germany at the Krav Maga Institute and can now call themselves KRAVolution Civil Instructor! The participants went through an intensive course that was not just about learning the structures of a self-defense training, but above all about becoming a good instructor. That was in Part III with Megan Cohen Berkman a special focus. Furthermore, in all parts they did a intensive technical training, focusing on the most important checkpoints and common mistakes to further promote the teaching aspect.

All participants were tested over two whole days. The first day was about teaching: Teaching-Test. Each participant had to hold a previously planned lesson for the other participants. This lesson was assessed by a four-member testing committee, consisting of active KRAVolution Instructors. On the second and last day of the CIC, it went into the Level-Testing. After more than five hours of non-stop testing, which was again accompanied by a four-member testing committee, it went into the final spurt. Everything was demanded of every single person! ”Never give up” was the motto here! Every participant can be proud of himself and his development!

We are proud to announce that Megan Cohen Berkman will be leading KRAVolution as a Head Instructor!

Megan was introduced to Krav Maga during her military service in the Israel Defense Forces where she started as a Boot Camp Sergeant and then became a Military Krav Maga Instructor. During her two years of service, she taught hundreds of soldiers and was fortunate enough to meet Imrich ‘‘Imi‘‘ Lichtenfeld himself. Today Megan is one of the highest ranked women in the world of Krav Maga.

Her teaching skills started at the age of 14 and in the following years she qualified as an Instructor for gymnastics, fitness instructor and personal trainer at Wingate Institute in Israel. In 1995, Megan was one of the people who brought Krav Maga to France and neighboring countries and returned to Israel in 2009. She has been involved in Krav Maga now for almost 30 years, travelling throughout the world to run seminars and courses and spread and share her knowledge and experience (USA, Canada, Australia , Great Britain, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Bosnia, Holland, Cyprus, Switzerland, Spain  and more).

Today Megan is a Head Instructor of KRAVolution, whose ideology is based on sincerity, honesty, friendship, experience and last but not least professionalism.

Due to the recent event of attacks on women, we are getting more and more requests at the KRAVolution for effective self-defense, because here the defenses are trained not only against one but several attackers under simulated stress by intuitive reactions. „Always be a hard target“, flight or fight, never freeze, that’s the slogan and woman learns in this seminar to defend themselves “unfairly” after all rules!
