Carsten Stahl in Cologne – Recognizing Bullying. Empowering Children. Acting Together.

For our Family Day, we are pleased to welcome Carsten Stahl, one of Germany’s most renowned anti-bullying and violence prevention activists. For many years, he has worked with children and teenagers, visiting schools and advocating against bullying, violence, and exclusion, and promoting greater respect, tolerance, and solidarity.

What makes our Family Day special: We want to reach both children AND parents.

While Carsten Stahl begins by discussing bullying with the parents, sharing experiences from his work, and raising awareness of warning signs and how to handle such situations, the children will train simultaneously with our Krav Maga Institute instructor team. The focus will be on self-assertion, presentation skills, setting clear boundaries, communication, and age-appropriate self-defense.

Afterward, the roles will be reversed: The children will go to Carsten Stahl and speak directly with him about bullying, exclusion, respect, and solidarity. At the same time, the parents will join us on the mat and experience firsthand what we teach their children in training.

While Carsten Stahl first talks to the parents about bullying, exclusion, respect, and solidarity. To conclude, both groups come together: parents and children train together. 👊

Our goal is not to make children afraid of conflict. Rather, we want to equip families with the tools to recognize situations earlier, talk about them, and deal with them more confidently together.

Crisis Prevention Day – Anti-Terrorism & Crisis Prevention

Focus: Home Invasion

The Crisis Prevention Day on September 12, 2026, in Sankt Augustin is an intensive seminar focusing on home invasion, crisis prevention, and the correct response in serious threat situations.

What do you do if armed assailants break into your home or a serious act of violence suddenly affects your immediate surroundings?

On September 12, we will train in the historic villa in Sankt Augustin on how to recognize dangers early, make decisions under extreme stress, and protect yourself and others in the best possible way. The villa has previously served as a training facility for numerous special forces and personal protection units for realistic scenario training.

Former German Armed Forces officer, expert in military close combat, self-defense, and stress resistance, and instructor for, among others, government agencies, special forces, and the French Foreign Legion. Chief Instructor at Atrium Sports Hamburg

Former head of the Baden-Württemberg Special Deployment Commando (SEK) and the Special Forces Directorate. With approximately 14 years at the helm of the SEK, he is one of Germany’s most experienced and longest-serving SEK leaders – with decades of experience in terrorist, hostage, and high-risk situations.

🔹 Dr. Haider Al Mansoor
Orthopedic surgeon, emergency physician, and expert in trauma and emergency management. Reserve officer, former instructor in the German Armed Forces Medical Service.

This course is very different from other kids courses, because there are children and teenagers present who want to learn Krav Maga. So you can apply and deepen the didactics and methodology you have learned directly on the mat!

We want children and teenagers to go through life with self-confidence and to know how to help themselves and others. We impart the necessary knowledge to them in a playful way without stirring up fears – a very responsible task for Krav Maga instructors!

This course is not only complementary for active instructors, but also for every man and woman who enjoys introducing children to effective self-defence in a playful way. A clean criminal record is a prerequisite for admission!

The Krav Maga Law Enforcement Instructor Course is for police instructors and for authorities and organizations with security tasks to teach and impart Krav Maga techniques and strategies for self-defense in the contradiction of the own security and the consideration of legal requirements and proportionality.

Content of the Law Enforcement Krav Maga Instructor Course

The content of the Law Enforcement Instructor Course is about imparting Krav Maga self-defense techniques and tactics related to seizure- and transport-techniques against one or multiple, unarmed or armed attackers, on your own or in a team. What we teach is how you can teach your colleagues didactically.

Here is the overview:

• Communication and body language
• Tactical behavior in conflict situations
• Teamwork in terms of self-defense
• Reaction to encroachmentsrelief-techniques in terms of contact-attacks
• Techniques in emergency and emergency relief situations
• Close quarter combat
• Self-defense under adverse conditions like low light/no light

In addition, we teach how to use self-defense-scenarios for prevention, reaction and defense against knife- and stick-attacks as well as gun-threats. Hostage- and anti-terror scenarios are also part of the lessons.

The techniques are based on the progress of the participants as the learning effect and the injury-free training are always in the foreground. We know, how important it is to be fully operational.

The end of every lesson is always about the so called drills, where the content you have learned before, will be recalled in everyday scenarios of security-units. This is not only how we teach the participants, but how the participants will teach their students later.

The course-language is bilingual in English and German, while all Krav Maga techniques are labelled in English anyway.

The KRAVolution Krav Maga Self-Defense Trainer course is a condensed Krav Maga Training for the civil sector and a first step towards the Krav Maga Training for Civil Instructors! After completing the training, the Self-Defense Trainer is authorized and qualified to conduct and conduct self-defense courses up to level Basic 3 in the Krav Maga curriculum.

CONTENTS
The contents of the KRAVolution Self-Defense Trainer Course are based on our general teaching methodology. This means that it is about the basic understanding of Krav Maga and its principles but also about teaching the techniques in the KRAVolution Krav Maga Curriculum up to level Basic 3.
– Teaching the didactic basics for the preparation of lessons
– Teaching the didactic basics for teaching
– Teaching the Krav Maga techniques up to level Basic 4 which is the goal of this training.
The goal of the training is to make you a Krav Maga Self-Defense Trainer with the Krav Maga Level Basic 4 in a condensed course. The emphasis is on teaching the Krav Maga techniques also at the Basic Level. Passing the exam cannot be guaranteed, earned, not given is the program here. In case of failing the exam, it can be repeated free of charge. This training is internationally recognized.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
– A minimum age of 18 years
– An above average level of fitness
– Experience as a trainer in other fitness and/or martial arts
You also need a clean police record. We expressly do not train those we wish to protect ourselves from.
