Family Day at the Krav Maga Institut with Carsten Stahl – 17.10.2026

Carsten Stahl in Cologne – Recognizing Bullying. Empowering Children. Acting Together.

For our Family Day, we are pleased to welcome Carsten Stahl, one of Germany’s most renowned anti-bullying and violence prevention activists. For many years, he has worked with children and teenagers, visiting schools and advocating against bullying, violence, and exclusion, and promoting greater respect, tolerance, and solidarity.

What makes our Family Day special: We want to reach both children AND parents.

While Carsten Stahl begins by discussing bullying with the parents, sharing experiences from his work, and raising awareness of warning signs and how to handle such situations, the children will train simultaneously with our Krav Maga Institute instructor team. The focus will be on self-assertion, presentation skills, setting clear boundaries, communication, and age-appropriate self-defense.

Afterward, the roles will be reversed: The children will go to Carsten Stahl and speak directly with him about bullying, exclusion, respect, and solidarity. At the same time, the parents will join us on the mat and experience firsthand what we teach their children in training.

While Carsten Stahl first talks to the parents about bullying, exclusion, respect, and solidarity. To conclude, both groups come together: parents and children train together. 👊

Our goal is not to make children afraid of conflict. Rather, we want to equip families with the tools to recognize situations earlier, talk about them, and deal with them more confidently together.
